Kate Gibb and other collaborations

Really exciting few months ahead in terms of collaborations. I'm lucky enough to be embarking on a major collaboration with Kate Gibb which will result in a joint show at the end of the year.

Kate's beautiful screenprinted artworks have appeared on covers of everybody from the The Chemical Brothers, Simian, Bob Marley, Suede, My Computer and The Magic Numbers.

I've also recently collaborated with Studio8 on a cover for their much admired Shop Magazine series. And finally I've  just completed a poster for Channel 4 with INT Works - Its Nice That's creative division. Both projects were really great to work on - I'll be posting both pieces up soon so keep checking back.

The Wire Magazine

I've just recently completed the cover CD for one of my favourite magazines (both in terms of content and design) - The Wire. As a magazine dedicated to experimental music it gives a compilation CD away every six months called The Wire Tapper. It commisions a different designer to come up with a cover image each time. The last one was Mark Farrow so no pressure on me then.

After chatting to the magazine's art director Ben Weaver we decided to come up with something that had the feeling of an organism or cell but which still had a hard edged and element-like form.
